This show starts with a live studio audience at the University of Texas at Tyler as we honor the students working with Team Impact. Team Impact has brought the UT Tyler Volleyball Team together with a little girl with Leukemia, and she is now part of the team! Our feature interview is with Fredina Ingold, the Director of Athletics at Penn State Altoona. Fredina shares how her student athletes work with Special Olympics in the Altoona community. Segments include catching up with Michael Young, a pit reporter for the IZOD Indy Car Series. Michael’s voice is broadcast on the Armed Forces Radio Network across the planet, and connects our service men and women on Memorial Day Weekend with their homes and families in the United States with the great American tradition of the Indy 500. Michael also educates us about the Indy Car Ministries. We wrap the show with a Breast Cancer Breakfast charity at Newberry College in South Carolina.
