An 11-year-old boy in PA who overcame pediatric cancer launched a charity dedicated to helped families battle pediatric cancer, called Matthew’s Hope 4 Miracles. This charity work has raised over $65,000 to help battle pediatric cancer. Reports include; University of Michigan research showing Pet Ownership lowers stress and blood pressure, and helps your cognitive health; a New Jersey teen, Michael Ferrara, runs an ultra marathon for Veterans; Organ donors made 41K donations last year. You can look into a donor registry or let family know if you’d like to be an organ donor. The Mayo Clinic says 20 people a day die from needing an organ, that could have been saved from an Organ Donor; Seasonal Effectiveness Disorder; Ben Berman, grad student in Philly, launched a Pizza company that gives money to charity.
